Updating on my interesting challenge....

So a few weeks ago I set out to do the unthinkable....

Eat the remainder of what I have in my possession before I grocery shop again!!!

How did that go? eh... not terrible.

Basically I did it 100% for about 3 days. I made some really gross concotions and needless to say I am not at the point yet that I can "create" new recipies. I should just stick to the food network for now. After my few days of serious saving and scavenging, I became bored with my selection and found myself turning elsewhere. And by that I mean I went to my parents house and ate their food :)

I also found that I was eating out more and avoiding that which I already had to my disposal.

What have I learned? Well it is important to keep your fridge interesting. If I can grocery shop on a regular basis and try to get a few new things from time to time I will be less inclined to eat out (hopefully). Also, taking the time to make a mental note of what "pieces" I have available in the fridge should help me to grocery shop based on what I already have, and use up my perishable things first.

Failed experiment? I think not, but it is time to go grocery shopping...
